Top Squash Players Gathering Together Again Alongside Huangpu River In Gold Autumn



5月24日,“摩根大通中国壁球公开赛”新闻发布会在上海半岛酒店举行。会上,赛事组委会正式宣布,摩根大通成为2017年中国壁球公开赛的冠名赞助商,并与摩根大通代表共同揭晓了赛事的联合Logo。这是摩根大通继2016年作为中国壁球公开赛高级合作伙伴之后,与赛事展开的进一步合作。今年的比赛将于8月31日至9月3日在上海半岛酒店举行。“J.P. Morgan China Squash Open” Press Conference was held in the Peninsula Shanghai on May 24th. In the Press Conference, the tournament committee of China Squash Open announced that J.P. Morgan became the title sponsor for China Squash Open in 2017. The united name of “J.P. Morgan China Squash Open” was unveiled by representatives from the tournament committee and J.P. Morgan. It is the first time for China Squash Open to have title sponsor since it has been raised its level as a professional world tour competition in 2014.



截至目前,壁球运动已在185个国家和地区开展,参与人数超过2000万人;其中职业壁球运动员的数量已超过800人。随着参与人数的不断增加,职业壁球赛事的数量也呈现出递增的趋势,更使得这项拥有100多年历史的传统运动项目在社会各界的精英阶层又掀起了一轮热潮。Up to now, squash is played in 185 countries and regions with over 20 million participants with over 800 professional squash players. With the raising number of participants, there’s an increase in the number of the professional competitions as well. Top competitions with the best players are especially attracting more attention, which has accelerated the popularity of the sport among elites.
