被誉为“野兽”的穆罕穆德•舒巴基，于1991年1月12日在埃及亚历山大港出生。他于2014年11月问鼎壁球男子世界排名第一，目前仍保持着这个排名。 Mohamed Elshorbagy, also known as ‘The Beast’, was born on January 12, 1991 in Alexandria, Egypt. He is currently ranked as the number one player in the world, a position he achieved during November 2014.

Only two years later, he became the second person in the world to win two back-to-back World Junior Squash Championship titles. But the young Egyptian was hungry for more. Winning five major World Series tournaments in 2014 helped propel Elshorbagy up the ranks, eventually helping him land on the summit world squash.



除了壁球，舒巴基还热衷网球、电视节目和阅读。作为今年中国壁球公开赛的头号种子选手，舒巴基希望再次冲击冠军来保持他当前作为世界头号选手的地位。 Besides Squash, Elshorbagy also enjoys Tennis, TV shows, and reading (optional). Currently the number one seed of the China Squash Open, Elshorbagy is hoping to secure another victory to extend his copious lead and maintain his status as the world’s number one squash player.

Gregory Gaultier



壁球届大名鼎鼎的格雷戈里•戈蒂埃，出生于1982年12月23日。33岁的他是职业壁球届老将之一。 Gregory Gaultier is no stranger to squash. Born on the 23rd of December, 1982, age 33, Gaultier is one of the most experienced squash players in the professional scene.

He showed potential at the start of his squash career when he reached the World Junior Squash Open finals in 2000. He then reached the finals of the World Championships in 2006, 2007, 2011, and 2013. In November 2009, Gaultier managed to secure his title as the World number one squash player for the first time in his life, a title that unfortunately for him, only lasted one month.

She was born on November the 2nd, 1983 in Great Yarmouth, England. She turned professional after graduating in 2000. It took her two years to break into the world top 50 and she lifted her first PSA title in 2005 at the German Open.

Three years later, she managed to secure her first crown at a World Series event, the US Open, which allowed her to finish at number 3 in the world. She made history in 2013 by becoming the only British player to win the British Open title since 1991. She did the same a year later, by becoming the first British player to hold both the British Open and World Championship titles under her name.

She promptly rose to the top 10 after a semifinal finish at the Malaysian Open, despite being only a qualifier. Two years after she won her first title, El Welily managed to seize a second in 2011 at the Carol Weymuller Open beating many of the top 5 players along the way.
